Extruding
The extrusion process for aluminum profiles involves pushing heated aluminum alloy material through a die to form a profile with a specific cross-sectional shape. Molds can have complex or simple shapes, depending on the desired profile. The aluminum alloy is heated to a temperature that makes it pliable, and then loaded into an extrusion machine. A press applies pressure to a billet, pushing it through a die to form a profile. The extruded profile is then cooled and cut to the desired length.
